At
just 5.7 metres in length this gorgeous compact motorhome would be an
ideal starter motorhome as it is so easy to drive and park if you are a
relative beginner to motorhome holidays. That said it would also make a
fantastic travelling partner for a couple or a family of 4. This
Autoquest is currently owned by the owner of DNA Campers so it has had
everything it would ever need doing to it to make sure that it is
excellent condition including a recent habitation check and an engine
service and it has also been re-sealed to protect against damp so you are getting a lot of motorhome for your money. It has also just had a full exterior machine polish and it looks amazing.
Built on the superb Peugeot Boxer chassis, this lovely motorhome has a powerful 2.2 litre
engine that climbs hills with ease. It has the more desirable rounded
cab shape compared to the previous model which was more box-like. In the cab you have electric windows and mirrors, a radio cd player, a reversing camera and a manual 5 speed transmission. Externally there are a number of useful features including a tow bar, a bike rack for 2 cycles, a wind out awning and a roof ladder.
Internally you have the
popular end kitchen layout. Here you have a 3 gas burner hob, a 3-way
fridge with an ice box, a gas oven and grill, a stainless steel sink
with a mixer tap and a generous amount of locker and cupboard storage
space.
Next to
the kitchen is the washroom which is equipped with a shower, a Thetford
cassette toilet, a foldaway wash basin with a mixer tap and a mirrored
bathroom vanity unit. A large window ensures that the washroom is
flooded with light.
The central lounge dinette is a great spot to relax and sprawl out in. There are forward and rear facing 2 seater sofas and the forward facing sofa is fitted with two seat belts so 4 people can travel safely and legally in this motorhome.
There is a dining table that fixes onto a side rail and this can be
removed when you don't need it to create a more open plan feel. The 2
sofas come together to make up a bed and you can pull the side facing
sofa across to make up an even larger bed if you need it. The other 2
sleeping berths are in the bed above the cab which is accessed via a
ladder and if you have young children or Grandchildren they will love
sleeping there.
For a 2007 model this Elddis Autoquest motorhome is presented in really good condition for its age and represents excellent value for money.
