If you want a starter motorhome that won't break the bank but you need plenty of room then this Compass Drifter 460 will tick the box. It has 2 lounge dinette areas and will sleep 6 people in comfort.
Built on the Peugeot Boxer chassis with a 2.5 litre engine and 5 speed manual gearbox, this motorhome was registered in 1995 but has only covered 49,604 miles. Externally there is a tow bar, a bike rack for 4 cycles, a wind out awning and a roof ladder.
Inside you have a rear U shape lounge with triple aspect windows and the sofas pull together to make up a huge bed. There is a freestanding dining table for use at meal times. The washroom has a shower, a cassette toilet, a wash basin that folds away and a mirrored bathroom cabinet. A large bathroom window throws in plenty of light. Then moving forwards you come to the kitchen which has everything you need to rustle up a meal including an oven and grill, a 4 gas burner hob, a 3 way fridge, a sink with mixer tap and lots of cupboard space for your utensils. Opposite is the second lounge area consisting of a forward facing 2 seater sofa with 2 seat belts and a rear facing sofa. This area converts into a double bed and the final sleeping area is the huge bed above the cab which offers plenty of space and headroom. Heating and hot water run off both gas and electric.
This is obviously an older motorhome hence the price but for its age it has very low mileage and the current owner has spent plenty of money keeping it maintained including a new turbo.
