The perfect vehicle for a large family, from out of the Compass stable, the Avantgarde 196 with 6 berths and 6 travelling seats. Based on the ever popular Peugeot Boxer chassis with the 2.0 130BHP HDi Turbo diesel engine rated as a Euro 6 with the 6-speed manual transmission. Having only had 1 owner from new and only having covered 3000 miles, this vehicle is in lovely condition as you would expect. We enter the motorhome via a low step on the passenger side, immediately to the left is a sideways facing two seater sofa and opposite is the full dinette with a fixed table that can seat 4 people around for dinner. Both the forward and rearward facing seats have 2 x 3 point lap & diagonal seat belts for travelling passengers. Although both the front seats can rotate only the passenger one comes round completely. At night this area drops down to make a small double or alternatively you can also pull the side sofa to join this area & with the use of an infill cushion you can make a large transverse double.
Over the dinette is the second large double bed which electrically drops down and can be accessed by a ladder. There are nets front and rear for child safety.
To the right of the habitation door is the galley style kitchen with Fantasie Mink flush fit kitchen units with chrome inset & durable ‘Karnak’ granite-effect worktops. There is an extendible work surface leaf next to a black enamel 3 burner gas hob & matching single oblong sink chrome mixer tap with plastic drainer. Below the counter is a Thetford full size oven & grill & a Dometic absorber style fridge with removable freezer box. This can be powered by 240v;12v or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space above and below for all you holiday provisions and a built in Microwave for use on site.
Opposite is the wet room style all in one bathroom with ‘Cashmere’ bathroom unit tops , ‘Boutique’ washbowl basin with click-clack plug and swan neck mixer tap, there is a shower curtain to keep the area dry whilst in use. A Thetford fresh water flush cassette style toilet with a swivel head.
Moving rear again is a large hanging wardrobe that incorporates the TV aerial and signal booster, drawers below.
Finally to the rear is a large rear lounge with two x 2 seater opposing sofas with an occasional coffee table fixed to the rear wall. At night this area pulls together to make a large double bed with the use of the sofa cushions as a mattress. There is a TV point with flat screen Avtex TV on the wardrobe wall.
Heating is supplied by a; 4kw Space-saving Whale gas and electric blown air system. Hot water is supplied by a Whale Expanse dual-fuel system with underslung 8L tank & Whale Duo Control combination controller.
