This gorgeous
Chausson Welcome motorhome has been lovingly looked after by the
current owners and will make a fantastic travelling partner for a couple
or a family of 3 who want to enjoy luxury travel and accommodation without breaking the
bank. The stylish grey cab and eye catching graphics give this motorhome a very classy appearance.
Built on the ever
popular Fiat Ducato chassis, this Chausson is powered by a 2.3 litre
engine that provides plenty of power for climbing hills but still
delivers good fuel economy figures. in the cab you have air con, cruise
control, power windows and mirrors, a manual 6 speed gearbox, driver and
passenger airbags, a permanent rear view camera, radio/cd player and
steering wheel mounted controls. Both front seats swivel and there are
full cab privacy blinds for night time.
Behind
the cab is the lounge/dinette which has an adjustable dining table, an L
shaped sofa fitted with 2 x 3 point seat belts and opposite is a side
facing seat. Above you have a large skylight that opens to allow in the
fresh air and this is a really great spot to relax and enjoy a meal or a few drinks. At night time this converts into a single bed.
Behind the dinette
you come to the central kitchen which is nicely equipped with a 3 gas
burner hob, a gas oven and grill, a large 175 litre Thetford fridge
freezer with automatic power selection, a sink with a mixer tap,
overhead storage lockers and soft close drawers at floor level to store
your utensils and crockery, all of which are finished in a very stylish
cream and brown colour combination.
The bathroom features a separate shower with a sliding screen door, a Thetford cassette toilet with electronic flush, a
wash basin with mixer tap, 2 storage cupboards, a large mirror, a
skylight and a window so you'll have plenty of light to get yourself
ready to go out.
At
the rear you have 2 fixed single beds which measure approximately 74 x
35 inches and these sit above the large garage. In between the beds is a
sliding slat which allows the 2 singles to easily convert into a
double. There is storage space underneath the beds and plenty of
additional space in the lockers. Two windows and a large skylight throw
in plenty of daylight and at night time simply pull down the black out
blinds for a great night's sleep.
If
you like wild camping then this motorhome ticks all the boxes. It has a
large 122 litre fresh water tank and 100 litre grey tank. There is a
solar panel fitted with a split charger to the leisure and engine
batteries and you can adjust what percentage goes to each battery with a
control mechanism located under the single seat in the lounge. The
large garage means tha you can pack plenty of your essential belongings
if you plan to go long term touring. There is a large wind out awning
for you to enjoy outside dining and one of the great features of this
Chausson is the slide out BBQ which gives you the option to eat out and
cook outside if you so wish. Heating and hot water runs off both
electric and gas and is controlled via the Truma control panel next to
the entrance door. This motorhome weighs 3500 kg so there is no issue
with C1 licences and it has had a habitation check in June 2020.
