The Chausson Welcome 630 is a fairly unique motorhome as one of the only ones that offers two single electronic drop down beds in the centre of the motorhome. This allows you to have a large spacious lounge as well as the luxury of a really comfortable nights sleep without either making up beds everyday or loosing all the space to a fixed bed. The beds drop down separately so can even just have one single down if you prefer. This motorhome also comes with two pop up rear travel seats meaning it is perfect for a couple or single person who want to take out a couple of guests or grandchildren - without sacrificing the space when they want use it on their own. The motorhome has loads of storage including large garage and wardrobe at the rear. This particular motorhome has low mileage and has been extremely well looked after by its current owners.
This Chausson is built on a Ford chassis and has an economical 2 litre engine and is a 6 speed manual with 130 bhp. The Ford's of this age have had issues with their injectors but these have all been replace. It has a well layout out cab with rear and reversing camera, cab air conditioning and cruise control. The motorhome has a good service history including a recent service this year.
As mentioned the Welcome 630 has a fantastic layout giving you the best of both worlds. With the beds in the up position you have a large spacious lounge which has two side facing double sofas, the two front seats that rotate around and an a multi-directional table that offers the perfect place for a meal, snack or even just browsing a tablet or laptop. There is a cleverly stored Avtec TV that is included with the motorhome. Moving back the motorhome has a well equipped kitchen which features and oven, grill, hob with 3 gas burners and sink on one side and a large 3-way fridge with separate freezer on the other.
The 630 is extremely comfortable to sleep with the two single electrically operated drop down beds in the the middle of the van. These can drop down very low so are easy to get in and out and also operate independently so can have one person stay in bed whilst the other can either stay up later or get up early. The motorhome is a 4 berth and the lounge sofas and table can be used to create the second double. At the rear of the motorhome you have a large rear washroom with Thetford flush cassette toilet, sink and separate shower. There is also a large wardrobe with hanging rail and shelves giving you loads of space for your clothes.
One of the standout features of this motorhome is the two rear travel seats that are cleverly folded away under the side sofas. These can easily be taken out if you are looking to take any guests or family out for the day. When not in use they are stored away giving you all the space you need to relax.
Externally the Chausson has a large garage which would be perfect for electric bikes or other equipment like tables and chairs. It comes will a large wind-out awning, has a 150 watt solar panel and tow bar.
In summary this is an excellent motorhome with a fantastic layout for a couple or single person. The two drop down beds definitely gives you the advantage of enjoying the best of both with space and comfort - yet still being able to take out up to 4 people if you want to have a few days out with family or friends. It has been extremely well maintained, looks fantastic and is ready to go.
