Chausson’s 708 Premium model gives the impression that it is a bigger vehicle than its size dictates. The modern design offers a feeling of space unparalleled in just over 7m. Based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with the 2.3L turbo diesel Multijet engine with the 9 speed automatic ZF gearbox. This latest incarnation is a Euro 6D rated with Add blue. having only had 1 owner from new and cover 739 miles, it will come with a new habitation check and is not due a mechanical service until 11/22. We enter the vehicle on the drivers side immediately to the right of the habitation door is the dinette which consists of two opposing two seater sofas either side of the gangway. The table position offset to the passenger side but can be moved to centralise, it folds in the middle for easy access moving fore or aft. The front two seats rotate to join this area so you could easily seat 6 people around the table if entertaining on site. At night the table drops down to make this area into a double bed with the use of infill cushions. Two travelling seats also can be found below the sofa bases with lap & diagonal belts. There is a TV point with flatscreen Avtex TV to the left of the habitation door.
Moving rear is the galley style kitchen which has an extendible work surface. There is a full size Thetford oven & grill with a 3 burner multi fuel hob one of which being a 240v hotplate for use when plugged in on site. There is plenty of cupboard and drawer space for all your holiday provisions. Opposite is a large Thetford absorber style fridge with separate freezer box this can be powered by 240v,12v or gas depending on whether you are wild camping or plugged in in site.
Finally to the rear is the main bedroom this can be split off from the lounge area with a solid sliding door. The bathroom is split either side of the gangway and consists of: Drivers side washroom with Thetford fresh water flush cassette style toilet & swivel head; white wash hand basin with chrome mixer tap built in to a vanity unit this area can be closed off from the bedroom with a tambour door. Opposite is a large shower cubicle with curved Perspex doors to close there is a chrome mixer tap and large shower head on a chrome riser, wooden duck board.
The Island bed is a good double and there are hanging wardrobes either side. The bed can also be raised up to gain extra storage in the garage. It also lifts up from the front end to gain access to the garage for additional storage space. The current owner has added a spare wheel in this space.
Heating & hot water are supplied by a Truma combination boiler that can be powered by 240v , gas or diesel. This has also been upgraded to iNet so that the functions can be operated from your phone app.
This vehicle is plated at 3500kg so can be driven by anyone with a full UK licence with no age restrictions.
