This motorhome is presented in remarkable condition for its age and will make a fantastic travelling partner for its new owners. It has been prepped in our workshop and has recently had a full exterior machine polish as well as an interior valet and it looks amazing. Many experts believe that the build quality of motorhomes built in this period is far superior to today's vehicles and when you see the quality of the cabinetry in this Bessacarr it's hard to disagree.
Based on the acclaimed Peugeot Boxer chassis, this very desirable motorhome has the legendary 2.8 litre engine that provides plenty of power for motorway cruising as well as climbing hills. It is also impressively equipped and comes with a tow bar, a bike rack for 3 cycles, a wind out awning, reversing sensors, a reversing camera and lots of external locker space which provides plenty of storage.
The mid-kitchen is huge and unlike most motorhomes provides the chef with a huge worktop area for food preparation. Cooking can either be done in the gas oven and grill or on the 4 gas burner hob. The kitchen also has a 3-way fridge with an ice box and a stainless steel sink with a new mixer tap. There is a wealth of cupboard and drawer space to store cookware, crockery, food and booze.
The lounge features 2 long side facing sofas and these have recently been steam cleaned. At bedtime the sofas pull together to create a kingsize bed or alternatively you have the flexibility to use them as 2 singles. The large windows and skylight flood the lounge with natural light making this a lovely area in the motorhome to curl up and relax with a glass or two of happy juice after your day's adventures.
The cab area is very spacious and provides excellent visibility for both front passengers. There is a radio cd player, a reversing camera and a really lovely retro wooden steering wheel which gives the motorhome a touch of class.
A new leisure battery was fitted in August 2023 and the MOT runs until November 2024. A habitation check was carried out in October which it passed with flying colours. Plated at 3500 kg means that this Bessacarr can be driven on a standard UK driving licence.
