This is a 6 berth, 6 belt motorhome on a 2.3 liter Diesel engine with a 6-speed manual gearbox, based on the popular Fiat Ducato chassis. A maximum gross weight of 4250kgs.
Low-line bodywork and a drop-down bed make the latest (face lift) 496 a contender in the premium family motorhome market.
You enter the 496 via the forward lounge. The Pullman dinette offers four fully belted travel seats, doubles as a spacious dining area and converts into a decent-sized double bed. Above is the drop-down double bed. Twist the Chubb-style key to release the electrical isolator, press a button and a fitted sleeping platform descends from the ceiling in a matter of seconds. Ladders are included to gain easy access however, the bed does drop down quite low.
The Kitchen features a three burner gas hob with an electric hot plate, oven with grill, circular sink with mixer tap, three way fridge, microwave and fold away extra worksurface.
The washroom sits adjacent from the kitchen this houses the cassette toilet, shower with bi-fold shower door and handwash sink.
