In our opinion the 282 is the best Mileo model in the Benimar range with the standout feature being not 1 but 2 electric drop down beds. Not only do you never have to make up a bed but you also get far more living room as the 2 beds stow away in the ceiling allowing room for 2 separate lounge areas which is perfect if you have children. And as always with a Benimar you get a seriously high level of specification that other manufacturers charge for, as well as excellent build quality.
This stunning Benimar was registered in October 2021 and has only covered 5835 miles. As well as the 2 electric drop down beds what makes this motorhome stand out from the crowd is that it has automatic transmission and an upgraded chassis which is around £5000 worth of extras. It's full of features to make every journey and holiday a truly luxurious experience. This is definitely a motorhome for a couple or a family who want to travel in style.
It's built on the class leading Fiat Ducato chassis and has a 160 bhp Euro 6 engine to power you along economically on your adventures. Externally the motorhome has the design flair that Benimar are renowned for including eye pleasing graphics and alloy wheels. You have a solar panel, a wind out awning for al fresco dining, a gas point so you can BBQ, a shower point for hosing down sandy feet or muddy dogs, and a large storage locker which can be accessed via the side or rear.
Once inside the motorhome the Spanish continental design flair is evident as soon as you cross the threshold. At the rear you have the ever desirable U shape lounge and 2 substantial storage cupboards as well as a small cupboard down at ground level. As you exit the lounge the kitchen is on your left hand side and the bathroom on the right. The kitchen has all the facilities you will ever need for cooking on your travels including an oven and grill, a dual-fuel hob with one electric hot plate and two gas burners, a microwave, a full-size fridge and large freezer compartment, a sink with a stainless steel mixer tap and some huge storage drawers. On the opposite side, the ultra-stylish bathroom has a large separate shower with a screen, a cassette toilet with electronic flush, a wash basin with mixer tap, a large mirror and lots of cupboard space for your toiletries. The cabinets are finished in a rich brown colour which look very classy.
The front lounge consists of an L shaped sofa which is fitted with 2 seat belts and a single seat on the opposite side. There is a multi-directional extending table which can be moved into a position to suit your dining requirements. Swivel the 2 front seats round to join the party and you can comfortably dine with 5 - 6 people. Above the lounge is an enormous skylight which throws in lots of natural light making this a really light and airy motorhome.
This gorgeous Benimar is fitted with a tracker and alarm for added security. The fresh water tank holds 120 litres and the grey water tank 105 litres both of which are heated to prevent freezing. There are fly screens and blinds throughout and heating and hot water run off both electric and gas.
