The Bailey Approach Autograph 740 is a great motorhome and is ideal for two people looking to enjoy adventures in the UK or overseas. The main features of this motorhome are the fact it has a good sized, spacious lounge upfront, a well-equipped kitchen area in the middle and a lovely fixed French bed and washroom at the rear. Whilst this motorhome sleeps 4 please note that it only has 2 travelling seat belts which is why it is really only suitable for a couple or single person who may want to take a friend. The motorhome is presented in good condition and is bright and clean inside. There are some cosmetic issues on the outside and a locker could do with new hinges - the owner is happy to consider offers on this one to cover the costs.
This Bailey is built on the Peugeot chassis and has a 2.2l engine with 6 speed manual gear box and 130 Bhp. The cab comes with cab air conditioning and cruise control making it easy and a pleasure to drive.
The 740 has an excellent living layout and extremely well-equipped too. At the front you have a bright, spacious lounge area which is made up of the two front captains chairs and two side facing double sofas. The windows and sunroof let the natural light flood in, giving you the perfect place to put your feet up and relax. There is also a table, cleverly stored under the bed, that can be placed in the centre to create an idea setting for a meal or snack. Moving to the middle, the motorhome has an extremely well equipped kitchen with includes an oven, grill, duel fuel hob with 3 gas burners and an electric hotplate, microwave, large 3-way Fridge with freezer and sink with mixer tap. There is also lots of cupboard and storage space for all your ingredients, crockery and utensils.
At the rear of the motorhome you have an extremely comfortable fixed French bed with a luxury mattress. The is also a good-sized rear washroom which includes a Thetford flush cassette toilet, sink and a separate shower. The front sofas do also make up a further double bed if required. This motorhome also has the much sought after Aldi wet heating and hot water system.
Externally the motorhome comes with a large wind-out awning, including Safari room sides, bike rack and tow bar.
In summary this is an excellent motorhome that comes with everything you need to have amazing trips away from home. With the spacious lounge and fixed rear bed, you will be able to enjoy an extremely comfortable stay day and night.
