If you are looking for a compact motorhome that is easy to drive and park, that will fit on your drive, but still offers very comfortable and stylish accommodation then look no further than this lovely Avondale Seascape. At only 5.8 metres long she is so easy to drive and navigate down country lanes and it feels like you are driving a large Estate car rather than a motorhome.
Built on the Fiat Ducato chassis which is widely regarded as best in class, this Seascape has a powerful 2.8 litre engine so it boasts plenty of power to climb hills and it cruises effortlessly on motorways. In the cab you have power windows and mirrors, a radio/cd player, driver's airbag, an alarm and immobiliser and the front passenger seat swivels. Above the cab is a double bed that will sleep 2 adults in comfort or alternatively this can be used as a large storage area. At the rear you have an L shape lounge and this converts into a double bed giving you your 4 berths in total. In the lounge you have a TV mounted to a wall bracket.
The mid-kitchen is equipped with a gas oven and grill, a 4 gas burner hob, a 3 way fridge with an ice box, a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap and plenty of storage space in the overhead lockers and ground level cupboards and drawers. On the other side is the washroom which has a shower, a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin and mixer tap, a mirror and a bathroom cabinet. A large window throws in plenty of light which is always useful when getting yourself ready in the mornings.
It doesn't matter whether you are going away to a hot or cold climate because this motorhome has been set up to tackle both with ease. One of the standout features is that this motorhome comes with habitation air conditioning which normally costs around £2500 to install and this will keep you as cool as a cucumber even in the hottest of climates. The owners have also spent £5000 having a diesel heating system installed and anyone who has experienced these before know how much better they are than standard gas and electric heating systems. It really does blast out the heat, warming your motorhome up in no time at all.
This motorhome has been the owners pride and joy and they have spared no expense making sure it meets their high standards. They have had 2 leisure batteries installed for wild camping and they have even had all of the sofa cushions refilled. A new cambelt was fitted in May 2021 and the motorhome was serviced at the same time. There is a tow bar fitted and the motorhome has a roof ladder. This Seascape comes with a very good service history and at 3400 kg she can be driven by anyone with a standard UK driving licence.
