Once in a while you come across an absolute gem of a motorhome and this Autocruise Stargazer is one such vehicle. It is a 1 lady owner motorhome that has been cherished and looked after and it's in fantastic condition for its age. It also comes packed with an array of impressive extras that you probably won't find on any other Stargazer models.
Registered in January 2007 this Stargazer is built on the excellent Peugeot chassis and has a 2.2 litre engine that provides plenty of power whilst also delivering very impressive fuel economy figures. In the cab you have a manual five speed gearbox, radio CD player, a reversing camera and power windows and mirrors. Security levels in this motorhome are amazingly impressive. It comes with a Phantom Tracker, a Sigma alarm and even a front dashcam. But perhaps most impressive of all is the fact that the steering wheel can be removed which makes it just about as secure a motorhome that you can possibly find.
Behind the cab is the lounge dinette which has two large and very comfortable side facing sofas. The windows are fitted with fly screens, blackout blinds and curtains and there is storage space under the sofas. A large roof light floods the lounge with daylight making it a lovely spot to relax in and enjoy a few beverages after your day's activities. At bedtime the sofas quickly and easily pull together to create a huge bed that measures 82 x 75 inches so even the tallest of adults will be able to get a great night's sleep.
The washroom has all the facilities that you could ever want including a shower, a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin with mixer tap, a bathroom cabinet with a mirror and an enormous storage cupboard. It also features an ingenious swing wall design whereby the area that houses the wash basin can be rotated around to form a shower wall to prevent everything in the washroom getting soaked.
The kitchen is situated at the end of the motorhome and has everything a budding chef needs to create a gastronomic delight. There is a dual-fuel hob with an electric hotplate and 3 gas burners as well as a gas oven and grill. There is also a stainless steel sink and plenty of cupboard and drawer storage space. A 3-way fridge with an ice box will keep your drinks cold and above the fridge you have a really useful worktop area where you can prepare food. There is also a fold out extension leaf which increases the amount of workspace that you have.
This very impressive motorhome has rear corner steadies, a spare wheel, reversing sensors, a wind out awning and even a spare set of lightweight curtains. It has just had a habitation check which it passed with flying colours and its MOT runs until April 19th 2023.
