Autocruise have developed a reputation as one of Britain's best manufacturers and the Starburst is one of their most popular models. At just 6.4 metres long it is really easy to drive and park yet offers a surprisingly large amount of living space. This 2 berth vehicle with 2 seat belts is a perfect starter motorhome for a couple or a single person looking to experience the fun and freedom that motorhome holidays bring.
Built on the excellent Peugeot Boxer chassis with a superb 2.2 litre engine that delivers plenty of power, this is a high quality motorhome. It has covered just 45,583 miles and is presented in very nice condition. In the cab there is air conditioning, radio cd player, power windows and mirrors, driver and passenger airbags, steering wheel mounted controls and front windscreen privacy blinds.
Behind the cab is the lovely lounge dinette. After a busy day out on your travels what could be better than coming back to your motorhome and sprawling out on one of the 2 side facing sofas with a glass or two of the falling over juice. There is a 12v/230v TV mounted on a bracket by the entrance door so if you want to catch up with your favourite shows while you are away you can. There is a freestanding dining table that you put up at meal times. Spin the 2 front seats around and 6 people can socialise together in real comfort. When you have finished your festivities the table stores away in a cupboard to give you back a nice spacious lounge. In the evening when it is time for sleep the two sofas pull together to create a huge bed which measures 81 x 63 inches.
The mid-kitchen is well equipped so if you enjoy cooking while you're away you're well catered for. There is a dual-fuel hob with an electric hotplate and 3 gas burners, an oven and grill, a microwave, a sink with a mixer tap and a good size fridge with a freezer compartment. Storage space is plentiful thanks to the numerous cupboards and overhead lockers.
At the rear you have a really lovely washroom with a shower and a perspex screen. There is also a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin with mixer tap, a large mirror and a bathroom cupboard to store your toiletries. A skylight and a window ensures that the washroom gets plenty of light.
Externally this low profile motorhome looks very elegant and features nice eye catching graphics as well as stylish 5-spoke wheels. It has a solar panel fitted to keep your leisure battery topped up which is always a handy addition. There is also a wind out awning to shade from the sun and it comes with 2 refillable gas bottles which will save you around 70% on your gas costs. Heating and hot water run off both electric and gas. A Sigma alarm has been fitted for added security. This motorhome had a habitation check in March 2023 and a service in August 2022 so she is ready to go.
