The owners of this gorgeous motorhome returned from a life changing trip having toured 13 countries in Europe and they loved every minute of it. They deliberated long and hard over which motorhome to buy for their trip and they were delighted that their Scout proved to be a fantastic tourer, especially as they wild camped most of the time.
Not surprisingly this motorhome has been equipped to go off-grid. It has 2 x 100 watt solar panels and 2 top quality leisure batteries to provide you with plenty of power when you're not hooked-up. It also has the Gaslow system which saves a small fortune on your gas costs and makes travelling around Europe a breeze as there are so many LPG pumps at gas stations. The owners are also including a free safari room in the sale so with the huge amount of storage space in the motorhome you certainly aren't going to struggle for room. On the rear is a high quality bike rack which will take 2 electric bikes and you also have an external gas point for BBQ's and a shower point to wash yourself down after a day on the beach.
The layout inside features the ever popular U shape lounge with triple aspect windows. The sofas can be used as 2 single beds or a cavernous double bed and there is storage space under the sofas as well as in the overhead lockers. You have the option of dining at the rear if you wish as there is a freestanding dining table which can be erected and then stowed away in a cupboard when not in use. All of the windows have fly screens, blinds and curtains. Then as you move forwards you come to the spacious bathroom which has a separate shower with a screen, a wash basin with mixer tap, a cassette toilet with electric flush, 2 cupboards and a large mirror. Opposite the bathroom you have a full length wardrobe with a hanging rail.
In the front half of the motorhome you find the kitchen and a second lounge dinette. The kitchen features a full length fridge with a freezer compartment, a dual-fuel hob with 3 gas burners and 1 electric hotplate, an oven and grill, a microwave and a stainless steel sink with mixer tap. On the opposite side from the kitchen you have a second lounge dinette featuring a forward facing 2 seater sofa with 2 belts and a rear facing 2 seater. The dining table is removable if you prefer to use this area as a lounge. In the evenings the dinette converts into a double bed. Above the cab you have a large bed with plenty of headroom measuring approximately 80 x 50 inches.
This Scout is built on the class leading Fiat Ducato chassis and has an upgraded 150 bhp engine so you should have no problem climbing hills on your holidays. There is cab air con, cruise control, a reversing camera, power windows and mirrors, steering wheel mounted controls and driver and passenger airbags. As well as an alarm and immobiliser you also benefit from a Phantom 3 Tracker to give added security. The cab has full privacy blinds and the kids will be delighted to know that there is a 4G Wi-Fi booster aerial for internet connection. The motorhome was serviced 3000 miles ago and has had a habitation check in July 2021.
