Broker's Comments

Auto Sleeper high top van based conversion with a host of features to enhance appeal to those wanting to go on extended trips. Now relisted, see end of this section for notes, reduced price to buy now.

This 2 berth, 2 seat belt motorhome offers plenty of space and numerous features within a compact and driver friendly layout. The van based shell means that this motorhome is both manoeuvrable and less intimidating to drive and park than some coach built variants. It is less than 6 metres in length.

Cab air conditioning, air suspension, 6 speed gearbox for relaxed and economical cruising, light blue metallic paint and a full MOT on sale. 50K miles from new means it is nicely run in and should offer lots of life and use for the next owner.

There is a TV, multi directional aerial, external shower take off, fitted and removable carpets and pleasing colourways for curtains and upholstery. It weighs in at a post 1997 friendly 3,300 KG.

The front centre dinette converts to a large double bed. The side kitchen and side washroom are located to the rear, with twin opening doors beyond. The washroom is fitted out with ABS plastic which is hard wearing and looks pristine, and of the wet room variety.

There is a full sized oven, and grill and 3 and 1 four hob set up, with the electric hotplate option for when on 240 V hook up Both driver's and passenger seats swivel to give additional seating for guests.

Gas blown air Whale heating, and hot water options, which also work on hook up. The 2 berth option leaves good room for the kitchen and the washroom aspects. The cabinetry offers lots of eye level storage and is a warm cherry red colour.

The Symbol model offers contemporary styling with flush fitting exterior glass windows to the sides.

This vehicle will have a full MOT prior to sale. There is decent history and documentation to accompany the motorhome.

Context to relisting

The Whale water heater exchange unit failed and it is to be booked in for a factory replacement. As a preliminary measure the electrical circuit board for the control panel was replaced in case this was prompting the heater to fail.

There is a dent to the sliding habitation door. This has broken the surface of the graphics but not the paint. There is some very minor deformation to the rear vertical edge of the door, in line with the dent, which is to be repaired along with the dent and graphics. Before and after photographs will be available and a receipt for this and the heater work will be provided. As things stand the affected areas are shown in the extended picture file.

As the vehicle is surplus to requirements the buy it price with the work done is as advertised.

Alternatively, the buy it now price is £24,000. The advertised price still represents a competitive price with all issues addressed. The buy it now price could see someone bag a bargain as they say.

The mileage on this vehicle was correct at the time of valuation, however the vehicle remains in use by the Seller until the point it is sold, therefore the mileage at the time of sale may be higher than that advertised.
