This is a seriously impressive VW long-wheelbase camper conversion that looks every bit as good as it drives. Finished in metallic grey with a sporty body kit, huge 22-inch alloy wheels, tinted privacy glass and upgraded styling throughout, it has a far more aggressive and distinctive appearance than your average Transporter conversion.
Underneath the looks, there has been plenty of attention paid to the driving experience too. The engine has been remapped to over 200 BHP, while upgraded Brembo brakes help provide the stopping performance to match. A removable tow bar is also fitted, making this a very versatile camper for touring, bikes or additional equipment.
Inside, the conversion is modern, practical and exceptionally well equipped. The rear seating converts electrically into a bed, while the fitted kitchen area provides plenty of storage and preparation space. The interior has been fully insulated and noise-cancelled, helping make it comfortable both when travelling and when parked up for the night.
For off-grid camping, this VW is extremely well prepared. It benefits from a huge 800 watts of solar panels, together with two leisure batteries, giving it an excellent electrical setup for longer stays away from hook-up. A diesel heater is also fitted, making it a genuine year-round camper rather than something limited to summer use.
Technology is another strong point. The upgraded Pioneer media system offers both Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility, while there is also an upgraded sound system and reversing camera.
This is a 4-berth camper with a versatile layout that works equally well for weekends away, longer touring trips or simply as a very cool everyday VW. The large tailgate and sliding side door make loading easy, while the long-wheelbase body provides noticeably more usable living and storage space.
