The main bed runs lengthways and is 1.83m long (slightly shorter, at 1.74m, on the nearside) by 1.29m wide. It can be parked in any position, right down to just 910mm off the floor, and there are switches to control it at either end, so you can operate it from outside when standing by the open barn doors at the back.
If you want to use the D60 as a four-berth, the lower bed also has two Bultex mattress and is actually the larger of the two. It’s a generous 1.96m long (max) by 1.60m wide, reducing to 1.36m towards the front of the campervan. It’s not a bed that folds away, as in many rivals, but it can be completely removed – frame, mattress, the lot.
In the garage area with ethe beds stowed away an ingenious design to allow the garage area to be used to its full potential, there’s a vast space here, up to 1.52m high and 1.20m wide , so you won’t worry about loading a motorbike on board incorporating a chequer plate floor and a handy rear shower attachment.
