Two large beds make up the 990M’s sleeping quarters: the main island bed at the rear and a drop-down double at the front over the dining area. Both are very generous with plenty of space even for two tall adults, and provides you with a very comfortable night’s sleep. The front bed drops down low, allowing easy access and plenty of headroom once you’re in.It’s the rear island bed arrangement that appeals most: shut the door which divides the front and back areas of the van and a real bedroom area is created, complete with two small wardrobes and a headboard behind the bed. Ambient lighting around the area creates a relaxing space, and classy fittings (including good-quality curtains) increase the home-from-home atmosphere. You also have lots of storage under the bed.Moving forward either side you have a separate wash room with WC, basin and vanity unit with a separate shower room on the opposite side. You then have a well laid out kitchen area with sink,hob,oven,extractor,fridge freezer,microwave and ample storage.
At the front is the L-shaped lounge area with its luxurious leather seats that provide 2 seatbelts and it is neatly separated from the kitchen area. A fold-out table, which swivels and slides, means there is plenty of leg and elbow-room for five to eat in comfort once seated and you also have two comfortable swivelling cab seats. Lighting, both natural and electric, is plentiful, thanks to that large windscreen and numerous internal lights.
The Cab has all the Mercedes extras including AC,cruise and reverse cameras.This Rapido has Solar panels on the roof and coupled with 2 leisure batteries, it will give great off-grid capabilities.
Externally,the Rapido has the benefit of a large garage and the awning. Extras included are a proper spare wheel,TV,Tow bar and a high quality SATNAV.
