Launched in 2022, the Xplora model has been specifically engineered to be easy to drive through narrow country lanes with a very small width of only 2.25m. At only 5.99m in length, the Xplora is economical, compact and a pleasure to drive and has a GVW of 3500kg with a payload of 600kg so can be driven on a standard UK licence. It is the ideal motorhome for 2 as it encompasses a spacious living area along with a fixed double bed(6ft7in x 4ft) with garage access internally and externally. However,within the limitations of an overall length of 6m it’s amazing what you can achieve with clever coachbuilding and the FDB offers a particularly generous washroom and kitchen area which sit midships in the motorhome. There’s still space for a lounge at the front, comprising the cab seats on swivels and a small inward-facing settee on the offside. It’s an arrangement you’ll be hard-pressed to find from any other larger-scale manufacturer. A free-standing table on a pedestal leg completes the lounge space while the cab seats are a different height from the settee. Heating and hot water is provided by the Truma Combi 4E System and there are 75L fresh and waste water tanks and LED lighting throughout. There is a 25L LPG underslung gas tank so no need for changing gas bottles.
There is a solar panel with 2 leisure batteries so the off-grid capability is excellent and externally there is a tow bar and wind-out awning and awning light.
