Broker's Comments

Motorhome Depot are pleased to present this extremely rare 2018 Dreamer D50 Select 3-berth,4-belt automatic Panelvan. Based on the Fiat Ducato, it is powered by the reliable 2.3 Multijet 130BHP engine and automatic gearbox. Having only covered 18000 miles, it has Full Service History with a cambelt change on 3.4.23 at 13150 miles and will come with a fresh MOT and service to give assurance to the new owner and it is in excellent condition inside and out. Being only 5.99m long, it has a GVW of 3500kg so it can be driven on a standard UK licence and is extremely easy to handle on those tricky campsites.

Dreamer is the van conversion brand for Rapido and the famous Rapido quality is evident throughout this great panelvan. The D50 Select is a very rare model in the UK and has a highly unusual and flexible layout. Where the D50 differs from more conventional fixed bed rivals is in the rear bedroom/storage area. Here, the standard format is twin beds with Froli springs and Bultex mattresses (2.00m long on the offside, 1.86m on the nearside), but actually these beds are joined along the majority of their length. Add an infill cushion at the foot and you get a really vast bed, up to 2.00m long and 1.92m wide.

This Dreamer also offers other possibilities. How about a transverse double bed with a garage section alongside (just inside the back door) or even a single bed and a really huge garage.

There’s also the option to convert the front half-dinette lounge into a transverse single berth, using the table and a roll of slats as support. Up front (alongside the sliding door), there’s a compact galley with a worktop extension flap at each end. Fittings include a combi hob/sink unit with two gas rings and spark ignition.

The fridge is an 85-litre compressor model and storage includes three large drawers (one with a bin), all with soft-close mechanisms and central locking. There are lots of top cupboards in this layout, and the locker doors shout quality.

The half-dinette has a very impressive finish of its upholstery and has 2 seatbelts and the table has a folding leaf. The washroom area comes with the latest Thetford swivel cassette loo and a stainless-steel corner washbasin along with the shower. A tambour door won’t get in the cook’s way and there are all the usual accessories (towel rail, hooks, toothbrush mug).

Neat details in the D50 include radio controls in the bedroom, chequer plate flooring in the garage, rear speakers, and a sturdy interior handle to make shutting the sliding door much easier. Water tank capacities of 110 litres (fresh, inboard) and 100 litres (waste) are impressive for a van conversion.

In the cab we have an upgraded Pioneer head unit and externally we have an awning.

Early viewing is highly recommended because this D50 is a rare beast and panelvans are extremely popular particularly in Automatic form and it is very difficult to find them with this mileage and in this condition at this price. For any more information or to view the extended picture file or to arrange a viewing please contact Matthew on the details provided. The Motorhome is located near Bridgend.
