This is a great VW T4 Transporter Camper Van professional converted by Bilbo's Motorhomes. This is a 2003 camper and is the Nektar layout which an ideal layout for one or two people looking to travel around UK or even just going out for the day. This is actually a 4 berth motorhome with a Pop Top and space above for two small children or adults but ideally recommended for two. The Nektar has 4 seat belts so perfect for taking a trip out whilst having a great base to relax and unwind in. The camper is presented in really good condition although there are a couple of minor marks which you would expect for a vehicle of this age.
The VW is an automatic with a 2.5 L engine so driving this camper is an absolute breeze with plenty of power to get you around. The vehicle has been well looked after by the current owner including regular service, the cambelt has been changed and new water pump was put in at the same time. The camper also has had a set of new tyres a couple of years ago that have hardly been driven on.
In the rear the motorhome has a good living area, giving you plenty of space and storage for a van of this size. The two front seats swivel round and with two further seats there is space for 4 to sit down and relax. There are a couple of tables that can be set up if you want to have a cup of tea or coffee or even have a snack. To the rear there is well equipped kitchen area including gas hob with two gas burners, oven/grill and fridge with freezer compartment. This camper comes with a sink with cold water. Please note that there is no heating system in the camper.
The Nektar layout uses the front and rear seats to make two single beds - due to the layout the max length of the beds are 180cm for the drivers side and can be slightly longer on the passenger side - but not really suited to anyone taller than 6ft. At the rear of the camper there is also a Porta-Potty that is safely stored away when not in use.
In summary, this is a fantastic van if you are looking to enjoy fabulous day trips out or even longer adventures. It is presented in really nice condition for its age and have been extremely well maintained and serviced. The VW Bilbos is a lovely looking van and ready to go.
