This Swift Escape Compact C404 is ideal for those looking for a feature packed motorhome which is cosy and compact. The chassis is a Fiat Ducato with a 2.3 litre diesel engine and a 6 speed manual gearbox. With a full service history and only 5129 miles on the clock, it is understandably in excellent condition.
The habitation area has been beautifully maintained by it's only owners, with hab checks carried out every year and everything cared for to the highest standard.
As we enter the living area to the right is a U-shaped end lounge with space for a fold away table which is stored in the cupboard when not being used. This area converts into a double bed if needed. Above this is another double bed which drops down when in use and back up again to leave plenty of living space during the day. There is also plenty of storage space underneath the seats and in the overhead lockers.
Moving forward we have a centre kitchen with a sink, microwave, Thetford oven with 3 hobs and a grill and a Dometic 3 way fridge with a freezer box. There is a flip up section on the side to extend the counter area when extra space is needed, as well as more storage space in the cupboards above and below.
Opposite this there is fully fitted washroom complete with sink, toilet and shower. The whole habitation area is heated and operated by the Truma CP Plus digital control panel alongside the Swift touch screen display above the doorway which controls all of the water, gas and electrical systems.
Towards the front of the motorhome there there are 2 forward facing seats with seatbelts, in front of which the fold away table can be placed as an alternative dining area. The driver and passenger seats then swivel to face these and with the skylight above this forms a great area to sit and socialise. There are lockers overhead here too for even more storage space.
At the front in the air conditioned cab there is a stereo with bluetooth, usb port and a screen for the reversing camera. Added features also include a Thule bike rack, wind out awning a solar panel for charging the battery. Externally as well as the usual fixtures and fittings there is also an extra 230V socket on the outside of the van, as well as a socket for and electric water pump next to the fresh water filler cap.
