This is a 2003 Laika EcoVip 7.1 with approximately 55,000 miles on the clock. The layout is excellent for a couple or single person who would be looking to spend long periods away, and perhaps even looking to live in the motorhome. It is presented in good condition but does have some age related marks, but as the motorhome is over 20 years old this is to be expected. The layout is great for a couple or single person, but also means you can take a couple of guests or grandchildren with extra berths and seat belts. With a large garage and generous payload it also ideal if you want to take large items away with you.
This Laika EcoVip is built on the Fiat Ducato chassis and has a powerful 2.8l engine with 5 speed manual gear box. The motorhome has a good living area with an extremely well equipped kitchen and double dinette seating area up front. The kitchen comprises of an oven, grill, gas hob, sink, 3-way fridge with ice compartment and even has a microwave oven. The double dinette is the perfect area to sit and enjoy a meal, snack, browse a laptop or even play a game of cards if you prefer.
At the rear of the motorhome you have a comfortable double french bed. As a fixed bed it does not need to be made up and is ready to jump in when you are. There is also a good sized washroom at the rear - which includes a cassette toilet, sink and shower. The motorhome is extremely well insulated - the older Laika's build quality is excellent - and is the perfect motorhome to see you through the cold evenings we get in the UK. There is also loads of storage in this motorhome with the large garage, overhead cabin lockers, wardrobe and further storage under the fixed bed.
As mentioned there are one or two age related marks on the motorhome and the original electric step has never worked for the current owners (a caravan step is provided) but everything is worth well - and has had a recent habitation check and work carried out to ensure this.
In summary this is an ideal motorhome for another looking to spend long periods away. It has a really good living space with plenty of storage and a fix rear bed. It is extremely well insulated and would make an ideal home for anyone looking to enjoy the great outdoors.
