From one of Germany’s finest motorhome builders Carthago the Malibu brand, which represents great build quality at an affordable price. This T 430 LE model is bright and airy throughout with a modern feel. Based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with the 2.2 litre multijet turbo diesel engine with add blue, with the latest 9 speed ZF automatic gear box. It also benefits from the 140 PS engine upgrade rated as Euro 6 AR. The chassis has been specified to 3500kg GVW which means it can be driven by anyone with a full UK licence. We enter the motorhome on the driver side immediately to the right of the habitation door a single side seat and opposite the dinette with central table and L shaped sofa. The forward facing part of the sofa benefits from 2 traveling seats with 3 point belts. The front two seats also rotate to join this area so you could easily seat 6 people around the table if entertaining on site. There is a large flatscreen TV that slides out from behind the dinette area for your evening viewing.
Moving rear is the galley kitchen which consists of; 3 burner gas hob; round stainless steel sink with chrome mixer tap. Above and below there is plenty of cupboard & drawer space for all holiday provisions and an oven & grill below the counter. The sink lid also doubles as a chopping board and shelf. To the right of the kitchen is a large Dometic Fridge with separate freezer compartment. This can be powered by 240v,12v, or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping.
Opposite is the large all in one bathroom which benefits from having a separate shower area that can be sealed off with round Perspex doors, keeping the toilet area dry whilst in use. The door main can be opened across the gangway giving a large private area for dressing. The toilette a Thetford cassette style unit with swivel head and fresh water flush. Above the toilet is a white built in sink with chrome mixer tap.
Finally to the rear is the large bedroom which is a twin singles layout over large garage. It benefits from being able to extend the area into a large double bed with the addition of and infill cushion and the ladder moving forward. The foot of the beds lift up to reveal hanging wardrobes and storage space. The head of the beds can be inclined for reading.
Heating and hot water are suppled by Truma combination boiler which can be powered by 240v or gas.
