Sunlight motorhomes are a collaboration between Hymer and Dethleffs which means that you get the finest German build quality but without the premium price that a Hymer or Dethleffs comes with. This T69 has one of the most desirable layouts of any motorhome available today consisting of an island bed, a drop down bed and a huge garage.
Based on the famous Fiat Ducato chassis this beautifully presented Sunlight has a 2.3 litre engine that is both powerful yet frugal on diesel. Visibility in the cab is excellent and driving this motorhome is an easy and relaxing experience. It has a manual 6 speed gearbox, cruise control with a speed limiter and cab air conditioning. There are also power windows and mirrors, a reversing camera, a radio cd player, driver and passenger airbags and USB.
The lounge dinette behind the cab is stylish and spacious. The upholstery is finished in an elegant grey fabric. On the nearside is an L-shaped sofa with an additional 2 seat belts and on the far side is a side facing chair. Both front passenger seats swivel so 6 people can dine at the adjustable dining table.
Above the lounge is a drop down bed with a memory foam mattress. This gives the benefit of a fixed bed but one that doesn't take up any of your precious floor space.
The mid-kitchen is impressively equipped so you can keep yourself and the troops well fed on your adventures. There is a Thetford Duplex gas oven and grill, a 3 gas burner hob, a substantial fridge freezer, a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap and soft close kitchen drawers.
The washroom is split over both sides of the motorhome. One side has a separate shower with folding perspex screen doors and the other side has a Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush, a wash basin, a large mirror and a surprisingly generous amount of cupboard space for your toiletries.
The island bed at the rear is one of the standout features. Large enough to sleep the tallest of adults this bed will guarantee you a great night's sleep and if one of you needs to use the bathroom during the night you won't have to climb over your partner to get out of bed. There is a large storage cupboard under the bed and a wardrobe either side to hang your clothes.
If wild camping floats your boat this Sunlight has a solar panel to keep your leisure battery topped up. It also has onboard Wi-Fi to keep the kids amused and is fitted with a GPS Live tracker for additional security. For a motorhome plated at 3500 kg it boasts a generous payload of 510 kg so you can fill up the cavernous rear garage and go exploring.
The motorhome had a habitation check in January 2024 and had a service in November 2023.
