These Romahome R20's are incredibly versatile which is why they are so popular. They can be used as an every day vehicle to travel into and out of work and they provide really comfortable accommodation for weekend breaks or overnight stops.
Based on the Citroen Berlingo chassis with a 1.6 litre engine this Romahome cruises effortlessly on motorways and climbs hills with ease. At just 5 metres in length you will have no problem driving it, parking or navigating down country lanes. It has cab air conditioning, a DAB radio with a cd player and a manual 5-speed gearbox.
The 2 side facing sofas come together to make a double bed that measures 66 x 57 inches. The nearside sofa is equipped with 2 lap belts giving 4 belts in total. Unlike many campers this one has a toilet in the form of an onboard Porta Potti.
Cooking can be done on either the 2 gas burner hob or the grill and the vehicle also has a 3 way fridge with an ice box which runs on electric, gas or the leisure battery. A window mounted solar panel will ensure that your leisure battery remains topped up.
This lovely compact vehicle can be used in winter as it has powerful diesel heating to keep you warm as toast and the diesel heater also heats the hot water.
Having only covered 22,703 miles this Romahome has barely started its travels and it will provide a person or a couple with years of reliable touring. The MOT runs through until July 2024 with no advisories on its last test and it had a habitation check in January 2024.
