Take a look at this fabulous extremely low mileage compact American RV by Trail-Lite. It was imported from Arizona in 2011 and has just passed its MOT easily. It is powered by an 8 litre petrol/LPG engine with a 4 speed automatic column change gearbox that returns the equivalent of about 30mpg and unlike many American RV’s weighs in at 5615Kg so does not require an HGV licence.
The habitation door is on the offside and leads straight
into a comfortable lounge area. Opposite
is a full length settee with 2 lap belts that pulls out very easily into a
double bed. To the right of the door are
two armchairs with a folding table between them that swivel so can be faced
inwards or forward for travelling. Both
have lap belts. The LHD cab has two Captains
chairs that are also set on swivel bases.
Between them is a large TV that can be powered off mains or the inverter
set in the cab area. There are 2
reversing cameras and further ones can be added to the system if required. Silver screens are included to cover the cab
glass.
To the left of the door is a large fridge and separate freezer
above and opposite is a fully equipped kitchen with 4 burner hob, oven, grill,
sink, extractor fan and microwave. There
are wardrobes on either side of the van.
The rear holds a large double bed behind a privacy curtain
in the popular ‘French’ layout and has another 12v TV and radio fitted to the
wall.
The spacious bathroom in the other corner has a large shower
tray which doubles as a small bath.
There is plenty of cupboard and locker space throughout this
vehicle. The rear windows have privacy
glass and venetian blinds.
The engine is powered by either petrol or LPG and there is a
90l tank for the latter. There is a
further 45l LPG tank for the heating and cooking appliances. An on-board petrol generator has its own
small petrol tank.
Externally there are lockers all around this van, a roof
ladder and a tow bar. Also included is
an A-frame and towing board to enable a small car to be trailed behind.
