We present for sale a Timberland Destiny 2 motorhome. The silver metallic paint and blue decals give it a very smart, modern appearance. What makes this van unique is the U shape rear lounge. With large windows on three sides the feeling of space and light is fantastic. Adding to this is the electrically operated roof light. The seats can be used as two bench seats or with the filler cushion on the pull out bench as required. This is also the sleeping area which can be used as two singles or with the central slats extended and the seat backs folded to make a double bed. There is useful storage underneath. The double rear doors can be opened allowing you to sit under cover to sip your tea whilst you enjoy whatever the weather is doing outside. The dining table is free standing so can be used inside or out. Above the seating area are numerous cupboards, one of the rear ones houses the Status TV aerial. Moving forward the kitchen is centrally located and features include sink with draining board under glass cover, flip up worktop extension, hob with 3 gas rings and an electric hob, separate oven and grill. On the other side is the good size fridge with freezer compartment. Above the fridge is the wardrobe. The washroom contains a Thetford electric flush bench type cassette, foldaway basin with monobloc mixer tap that doubles as the shower head over the shower tray floor. As you enter via the side sliding door there is an electric step, a light at floor level and a large mirror. Heating is by gas warm air and hot water can be powered by gas or electric. No need to worry about gas cylinders on this motorhome it has a 20 litre LPG tank fitted underneath. The gauge is easy to see next to the gear lever. (New tank fitted in June). LED bulbs have been fitted.
Based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato 33 120 M-JET LWB. Powered by the 2287 diesel engine matched to a 6 speed manual gearbox. the cab we have electric front windows, 4 way adjustable door mirrors, CD radio, map clipboard. The windows and doors have concertina fold away blinds, much more convenient than external thermal covers. Seat fabric is in very good condition and matches the rear. You may notice the seat arms have been removed to the preference of the owners and can easily be put back. The passenger seat swivels to face the lounge area. The original Timberland carpets are also in storage. A Rear View Camera is included (not fitted when photographed). There is a tow bar fitted (without ball) it has been used for a motor scooter carrier (not included).
A very comprehensive Service was carried out in April 2018 in preparation for a trip abroad and included new brake pads front and rear and anything else that was required giving a total of over £700. This was in April 2018 when the MOT was also done. A Full Habitation Check was completed in May 2018. There are 4 other Service Stamps in the Service Book. 4 New tyres have been fitted within the last 4000 miles or so. A new alternator was fitted about 4 months ago. The cam belt was believed to have been changed at the time of purchase from a reputable dealer. Please note this motorhome is in regular use so any personal belongings captured in photos are not included in the sale. Overall this is a nice example of a motorhome with something of a cult following ready to take you on next adventure.
