The Swift Escape 686 is one of the most popular motorhomes for families and it is easy to see why. It sleeps six people and unlike many motorhomes it also comes with six travelling seat belts. It also has the benefit of two lounge areas so if the kids want to play on their tablets and you want to watch TV or read a book there are two separate areas for you to do this.
Built on the class leading Fiat Ducato chassis this motorhome has an excellent 2.3 litre engine that delivers good fuel economy and plenty of power. In the cab you have a manual six speed gearbox, cab air conditioning, power windows and mirrors, a media system, cab privacy blinds and driver and passenger airbags. Having covered only 18,443 miles this Swift motorhome is barely even run in and it will come with an MOT and a habitation check that both run through until November 2022. Externally there is a bike rack for two cycles, a roof ladder, a wind out awning and an electric step. It also features stylish body graphics to further enhance its appeal.
Internally the motorhome features the most popular rear U-shaped lounge layout. This really is a lovely spot to relax in after a day out and it features triple aspect windows and a large skylight which ensures that this area is flooded with light. At meal times there is a freestanding dining table that can be erected very quickly and easily and this can be stored away when not in use. When it's time for bed the sofas quickly and easily convert into a double bed which will comfortably sleep two adults.
Moving forwards there is a large wardrobe with a hanging rail on the nearside and opposite this is the washroom which has everything you need to keep yourself fresh on your travels including a shower, a wash basin with a mixer tap, a Thetford cassette toilet with electric flush, a bathroom storage cabinet and a large mirror. A skylight throws in plenty of light which is helpful for getting yourself ready in the morning.
Towards the front of the motorhome on the nearside is the kitchen. This has a 3 gas burner hob, a gas oven and grill, a three-way fridge with a freezer compartment, a sink with a mixer tap and plenty of cupboard and locker space to store your utensils and ingredients. Opposite this is the second lounge dinette area which has a dining table that fixes onto a side rail and this can be easily unclipped and stored away when not required. Both the forward facing and rear facing two seater sofas are fitted with a pair of three point seatbelts which with the two seatbelts in the front gives six travelling seatbelts in total. Above the cab is a huge bed which can be accessed via a ladder and the kids will love sleeping up here. It measures 82 x 54 inches and this can also be used as a storage area. All windows are fitted with fly screens and blinds and heating and hot water run off both gas and electric.
