Not many people realise that Sunlight are owned by the Erwin Hymer Group. This means that you get Hymer's famous build quality and attention to detail but without the usual Hymer price tag. At the rear there is a cavernous garage so you can pack up your belongings and go touring for months on end. And if you are of the adventurous persuasion and wild camping is your thing you'll be delighted to know that this Sunlight is fitted with 2 solar panels giving a whopping 320 watts of power feeding 2 leisure batteries. A large wind out awning will give you protection from the sun and give you the ability to dine outside in comfort. Security is provided by a Tracker and immobiliser and the owner has also added extra security door locks. Visually this Sunlight is highly impressive. The black alloy wheels perfectly complement the stylish grey body graphics making this one of the smartest looking motorhomes you are likely to see.
Built on the unbeatable Fiat Ducato chassis this motorhome has the superb 2.3 litre Euro 6 engine that is both powerful and economical. It features a manual 6 speed gearbox, cab air con, cruise control, a reversing camera, a media system with sat nav, Bluetooth and Apple Car Play. On top of this there are driver and passenger airbags, USB points, power windows and mirrors and steering wheel mounted controls.
Behind the cab is the lounge dinette. Here you have a forward facing 2 seater sofa fitted with 2 seat belts meaning that 4 people can travel legally and there is also a side facing chair. Both front seats swivel so 5 people can sit around the adjustable dining table in comfort. A large skylight ensures this area is flooded with natural light making it a lovely spot to relax in after your day's activities.
As you would expect the mid-kitchen is impressively equipped and has everything you need to rustle up nice meals while you are away. There is a three gas burner hob, an oven and grill, a full size fridge with a large freezer compartment and a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap. The owner has also added a microwave. The lockers and drawers feature a soft closing mechanism just adding yet another touch of quality.
The bathroom is split across both sides of the vehicle. On the nearside you have a large separate shower with a folding screen. On the off side there is a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin with a mixer tap and plenty of storage space for your toiletries. A large mirror makes getting ready to go out nice and easy. There is a skylight in both parts of the bathroom.
At the rear you have two extremely comfortable single beds with memory foam mattresses. There is an extending centre section which allows you to convert these into an enormous bed measuring 85 x 80 inches. Underneath both beds are storage cupboards which are deep and will store your bedding very easily. The storage lockers above the bed once again feature the soft close mechanism.
This Sunlight is plated at 3500 kg so can be driven on a standard driving license. It has also had a suspension upgrade with Sumo springs to make the driving experience even more pleasurable. Heating and hot water run off both gas and electric via the excellent Truma iNet system. This is a 1 owner vehicle and it has only covered 5,665 miles and is presented in fantastic condition. The motorhome was serviced in January 2022 and had a habitation check in October 2022 so she is ready to go.
