From one of Frances finest motorhome manufacturers the Rapido 9090DF Le Randonneur ( translation - The Hiker ) based on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis with the 3.0 turbo diesel engine with a 6 speed manual box. The 3.0 litre engine benefits from being 160bhp and having a cam chain so no belt to worry about. The cab benefits from: Power steering; air conditioning; cruise control; electric adjustable mirrors; Pioneer single CD/DAB head unit, blinds to front & side screens.
We enter the motorhome on the drivers side via a low step immediately to the right of the habitation door is a single sofa and opposite is the dinette with L shaped sofa. The forward facing seats have 2 x 3 point lap & diagonal seat belts for travelling passengers. The front two seats rotate to join this area so you could easily seat 5 people around if entertaining on site. The table original has been replaced with a smaller removable one that makes it easier for moving through the motorhome.
Over the Cab is a large double full width drop down bed that can be accessed with a removable ladder, this can be left made up when stowing away.
Moving rear is the L shaped kitchen which consists of a stainless steel bowl shaped sink with chrome mixer tap; 3 burner gas hob; 12v extractor fan with light. Underneath the counter is an oven & grill with plenty of cupboard and drawer space for all holiday provisions. The current owners have added a tower style socket extension that rises from the worktop for all your appliances. On the opposite side is the large Dometic absorber Fridge with separate freezer box that can be powered by 240v, 12v or gas depending whether you are plugged in on site or wild camping. Above the fridge is the TV point that pulls out and can be positioned to be watched from the dinette or from the bedroom.
The bathroom area sits centrally across the motorhome and can be separated from the front with a solid door. The washroom is on the drivers side and consists of a Thetford cassette style swivel head toilet with fresh water flush. Metal bowl shaped sink with chrome mixer tap is built into a vanity unit. On the opposite side is a large shower cubicle with mixer tap and chrome riser, Perspex doors to close.
Finally to the rear is the main bedroom with large island bed, hanging wardrobes either side and extra storage to the side pods and overhead cupboards.
Gas Heating and hot water are supplied by Truma Combination boiler with blown air throughout the Motorhome.
* THIS VEHICLE WILL REQUIRE UPLATING BY SVTECH TO 4000KG FOR PAYLOAD. IT WILL REQUIRE THE ADDITION OF REAR AIR SUSPENSION KIT FROM 'AS SUSPENSION' IN CHESHIRE IN ORDER FOR THAT TO HAPPEN. THE TOTAL COST WOULD BE £2,570.40 INCLUDING THE NEW PLATE. IT MAY BENEFIT FROM THE REMOVAL OF THE TOW BAR ALSO.
