This motorhome is completely unique in the market as it is a Rapido 691ff that has had the layout professional changed by the current owners to create a wonderful living space including an extremely comfortable L shaped lounge. The conversion has been done to such a high standard that if you didn't know the model you would never know it wasn't the original layout. The main features are now this wonderful rear L shaped lounge, an electric drop-down bed and front dining and lounge area. It is the perfect motorhome for a couple wishing to spend time away, but also with the option of taking the grandchildren on short trips too.
The Rapido built on the ever popular Fiat Ducato chassis and has a 2.3l manual engine with 6 speed gear box. It is exceptionally comfortable to drive and comes with cruise control and cab air conditioning.
The rear of the motorhome is where the changes have been made to create a fabulous new layout. The front of the motorhome still has the original lounge and dining area with the L shaped sofa, single seat and the two front captains chairs creating a lovely area to sit. It also has a folding table that is the ideal place to enjoy a meal or snack. There is also a well equipped kitchen with oven, grill, hob with 3 gas burners and large 3-way fridge with separate freezer. Above this area is the electric drop down bed to leave you all the space at the back.
At the very rear of the motorhome is now a lovely L shaped lounge which fantastic views. The fixed bed has been removed to give this additional living space and you would never know it was not the original layout.
As mentioned this is a four berth motorhome so is extremely comfortable at night. You obviously have the electric dropdown bed and the rear sofa pulls out to make a further double. The motorhome does still have a lovely washroom with Thetford flush cassette toilet and vanity basin but the shower has been removed to give extra storage - therefore has no shower as was never used. The motorhome has had a completely new boiler system put in and now operates using the Truma iNet system.
There are also a number of extras including and automatic self levelling system, satellite system, wind out awning and full privacy room, bike rack and tow bar. As the layout has been changed there is no longer a garage in this motorhome but does have external cupboard space and additional storage underneath the lounge at the back.
In summary this is a fantastic motorhome which has undergone a wonderful professional conversion to increase the living space in the motorhome. The addition of the electric drop down bed frees up the space for a dining area at the front and a lounge at the rear and still gives you an exceptionally comfortable space to sleep at night.
