Take a look at this fabulous compact campervan on a Mazda Bongo (re-badged as a Ford Frieda).
It was imported in 2004 and converted by Wellhouse. It has been owned by one family ever since.
The immaculate interior has the usual rock-and-roll bed layout of a small
campervan but also has a superb electrically operated pop-top roof which allows
two people to sleep in the roof space as well on a custom fitted mattress which
can be carried here when not in use. There
is a sink, fridge with freezer compartment and two-burner hob and cupboard
space next to the bed. The bed base
lifts up to reveal a good storage space beneath. A useful table stands on a leg which fits into
a socket on the floor.
There are lights throughout and the side windows have integral
blinds. The rear window has a curtain
and there are silver screens for the windscreen.
Unlike most micro-campers it has been designed to have enough room to
allow use of a Porta-Potti at night which can be concealed in a cupboard by
day.
At the rear is the gas locker and wardrobe hanging space
with access to further storage under the back of the bed.
There is an on-board fixed water tank and a waste water
tank.
Externally there is a Fiamma awning fitted in 2014, a
reversing mirror and wind deflectors to the cab side windows. A full sized
spare tyre is carried beneath the van.
