- The GLOBECAR range of campervans are highly sought after, not least this TRENDSCOUT RD model, 2 berth with a u-shaped rear lounge. This 2008 model comes on the bullet proof Ford Transit base with 2.2 TDI engine,130 BHP, 85,500 miles and just 3 owners from new. The MOT runs through to 4th November 2022. The service book is present and stamped up to 75k miles, plus there are receipts after that, also the engine is chain driven so no pesky rubber cambelt to worry about.
- The campervan has had a full habitation service by a qualified AWS / NCC engineer on 15th November 2021, it will come with all the NCC / AWS certification including a gas soundness check.
- Open the side sliding habitation door, slide out the electric step and enter the campervan, immediately on your right is the kitchen area, with a stainless steel two gas burner hob, a square stainless steel sink with mixer tap, opposite is a Dometic three-way powered fridge with ice-box, plus plenty of upper and lower cabinets to store away all of your holiday provisions.
- The washroom has a cream built-in wash basin with chrome mixer tap that also pulls out to act as the shower handset, mirror above and cabinet below, shower tray, Thetford cassette swivelling toilet with electric flush and a mirrored medicine cabinet.
- The main feature is the u-shaped rear lounge with cream and yellow coloured contemporary fabrics, the side sofas can be used as single beds or you can make the area up into a large double bed. Large windows and a large sunroof flood the area with natural daylight making it light and airy, upper aircraft style lockers and under-seat storage available. A 12v AVTEX TV with built-in DVD player and remote control is included and there's a dining table that stores away when not in use.
- Open up the rear doors for an alfresco experience, to watch the world go by and the sun setting in the evening.
- Truma gas and electric blown-air central heating and hot water heating, wood effect flooring with loose fit carpets, a good sized wardrobe with hanging rail, black-out blinds and fly-screens throughout.
- The cab has air-conditioning, a Ford CD Tuner, built-in blinds to the windscreen and side windows, one swivelling seat, cruise control, passenger and driver airbag, remote control central locking, electric windows and mirrors.
- Outside you have a wind-out sun canopy, two rear opening doors, just inside is the gas locker with two included bottle's, there is additional storage space, alloy wheels, rear tyres fitted in 2021, front tyres in 2020, a slide-out electric step, rear parking sensors, plus the benefit of a tow bar with electrics. There are a few stone chips at the front as to be expected, above the cab some of the paint lacquer has come away, which is easily rectified. A tow bar frame mounted cycle rack is included.
The van drives beautifully, the lounge is very comfortable and the campervan is ready to go touring.
