This 2016 Ford Transit camper van is a quality build and a quality van.
The build is approximately 2 years old, on the Ford Transit Custom 270 LTD E-Tech 2.2 TDi re-mapped from 120 to 160 bhp. It has a 6 speed manual gear box. The mileage is 61404. There is good recent service history, it was last serviced on 26th July 2021 at 59604 miles. The MOT is till 4th May 2023. The over all condition of the body work and underside is excellent, there are 3 belted travel seats in the cab, the length of the camper van is 4.97 metres and width is 2.27 metres.
The build has a classic camper look with a dark oak design. We have a hard wearing work top with integrated 2 burner Dometic hob, and stainless steel sink and tap. Below is a 12v Dometic fridge, pull out cutlery drawer and large cupboard with pull out concertina door. This holds the fresh and waste water tanks, and encased and under vented LPG tank. There is spot lighting and a shelf above, 2 x 240 socket and USB charging point. The power supply/control unit sits above and is good quality.
The double rear seats are leather effect and are both belted. These pull forward for an instant bed set up (5ft 9" x 3ft 5"). There is a storage cupboard/wardrobe towards the rear, with side and rear access and another rear cupboard for the leisure battery. There is a door stored table and under seat storage. The slide windows are tinted and we have black out curtains.
The Pop Top will also sleep 2 (6ft x 3ft 11") - there are 3 windows to unzip. This all pushes up very smoothly, due to gas struts as will the ceiling (with illuminated Ford logo). There is a mattress (unused) and safety net to prevent children from falling.
The Webasto diesel heater has a built in van tracker, this tracker links to a phone App and also the heater operation can be worked remotely. This was fitted on 29 Sept 2021 at a cost of £1860. The awning is a brand new addition fitted on the 9th March 2022 (£828). Extra features include: Thermal pop top surround (£400), thermal cab blinds, external screen cover, hook up cable, drill proof cab lock, Thule slide door security lock, cruise control, blue tooth, air con, climate control, twin air bags, front and rear parking sensors, voice control on the steering wheel, automatic lights and wipers, cab USB point, adjustable steering wheel and alloy wheels.
