This Bilbo’s Kompak is based on a VW Transporter powered by a 2461cc Diesel engine with a five speed manual gearbox delivering 88bhp. It sleeps two on a 4ft 2in wide rock and roll bed with more accommodation upstairs in the unique Bilbo side lifting elevating roof. There are five seatbelts, four three point and one lap. With the extra low-line roof, this VW Camper measures only 1.96m high. A Tow bar with electrics has also been fitted
In the cab you will find AirCon and radio cassette player complimented by a CD multi stack system. The front passenger seat swivels leading into the main lounge area. This seat has its own small table on an arm and there is a further clip on dining table in front of the main seating. In the kitchen is a two burner hob and sink with pumped water from a container housed in the cupboard below. The Cool Box style 12 volt fridge fits under the hob area. Small cupboards above the worktop area compliment those at the rear. Room for the included crockery is next to the sink. Under the main seat there is extra storage and room for the included Porta Potti. Two 230 volt sockets are conveniently just under the worktop. Fully fitted curtains cover all the rear windows and there are both external and internal Silver Screens for the cab area. Heating is via an Eberspacher diesel system.
A new full set of diesel injectors have recently been fitted.
