This gorgeous 2 berth camper is built on the VW Transporter chassis and was first registered in 1994. She has had only 4 owners during that time one of which was a name change from husband to wife. The current MOT runs until April 29th 2020. A new cambelt was fitted at 114,500 miles. This campervan is in very good condition for its age and the upholstery is in much better condition than many models half its age.
On entering the Topaz via the sliding side door there is a side facing sofa and a forward facing seat with seat belt. Both front seats swivel enabling the chair which folds out and the sofa to be used as 2 single beds. Alternatively they can also be made in to a double bed. There is a large dining table which fixes in to the floor and this can be easily stored away when not in use. Auto-Sleepers are famous for their clever vehicle designs and this camper has a surprisingly large amount of storage space due to the overhead lockers and neatly tucked away cupboards.
At the rear is the washroom which has a Thetford cassette toilet, a fold down wash basin with mixer tap, a shower tray and a shower handset. There is also plenty of storage space in the generous bathroom cupboards.
In the kitchen area there is a 2 gas burner hob and grill and a 3 way fridge with a small freezer compartment. There is a wooden lift up top above the gas burners which can be lowered and used as extra work top space as and when is needed. The kitchen has both overhead lockers and floor level cupboards and drawers so there is no shortage of space to store your crockery and ingredients.
Heating operates on the Propex gas blown air system and warms the vehicle quickly. There is also hot water onboard, fly screens, blinds and curtains. For those warm sunny days this Topaz has a wind out awning enabling you to enjoy outside dining if that's your thing. Included in the sale is a 2 cycle bike rack. This vehicle weighs only 2800 kg so she can be driven by anyone on a standard UK driving licence.
