Incredibly, this Auto-Sleepers Midas has only covered 10,430 miles and at this price it's an absolute bargain for a 6 berth motorhome in such good condition. The current owner is someone who does professional motorhome and van conversions and he has put his magic touch to work on this vehicle. He spent over 2 weeks machine polishing the exterior to give it the showroom look and it looks amazing. He also installed a diesel heating system, steam cleaned the upholstery and also put in a new garage floor. In short, this is a top class motorhome.
Based on the excellent Peugeot Boxer chassis this Auto-Sleepers Midas has the powerful 2.8 litre engine so climbing hills shouldn't pose any problems. In the cab you have a 5 speed manual gearbox, power windows and mirrors, a radio/cd player, a reversing camera and 2 swivel captain's chairs.
Behind the cab is the open plan lounge dinette. This area is really spacious and has a generous amount of floor space so if you have a large dog or multiple dogs there is plenty of space for them to stretch out. The L shape sofa is extremely comfortable and at bedtime converts into a double bed. A large roof light throws in plenty of daylight. On the opposite side is a large cupboard that provides lots of storage space. One of the standout features of this motorhome is that above the lounge there is a habitation air conditioning unit so if you are planning to venture abroad to hot countries you can keep cool on your travels.
The kitchen is well equipped and has a dual-fuel hob with 1 electric hot plate and 3 gas burners as well as a gas oven and grill. There is a stainless steel sink with a mixer tap and a surprisingly generous amount of worktop area to prepare food on. There is also a full size Electrolux fridge freezer and plenty of cupboards and drawers to store your cookware and other kitchen essentials.
The washroom is spacious and features a shower with a perspex screen, a Thetford cassette toilet, a wash basin with a mixer tap and a mirrored vanity unit. A large window and a roof light ensure that the washroom is light and airy unlike in some other motorhomes.
At the rear you have a fixed transverse bed measuring 82 x 47 inches so even the tallest of adults will have no issues sleeping here. There are some folding steps that can be used to get into bed when the bed is raised to its highest point because the bed height can be raised and lowered to increase the clearance height in the garage underneath. The lounge sofa provides another 2 sleeping berths and the final berths are in the overcab bed which measures 78 x 55 inches.
The owner has had all of the upholstery and work tops steam cleaned and it really is a very clean and tidy motorhome. He also installed a diesel heating system which provides amazing heat even in the coldest of climates. The motorhome has a wind out awning which is perfect if you like al fresco dining and the cavernous garage gives you the opportunity to pack up your belongings and go long term touring if you so wish. The motorhome was serviced in August 2022 and had a new cambelt and water pump and it also had a habitation check in May 2022.
