Leisuredrive’s Vivante model is always able to impress. In production since 1994, the Vivante has proven itself as a high-quality camper van—and its popularity among consumers shows no signs of waning.
In 2017 it got a makeover, and now its popularity seems to be growing.
The two-tone finish on this vehicle, a combination of white and nardo grey, gives it a modern yet retro look.
Driving the T6 is a relaxing experience, due to its car-like feel.
The Vivante’s lounge is large enough to seat four people, and one of the front cab chairs can be swivelled so that it faces another chair. Either side of this arrangement can accommodate a table for dining / working comfortably together.
The extra height is noticeable.
The side windows in the lounge allow in plenty of natural light. Night-time illumination is well taken care of by adjustable LED strip lights in the hi-top and above the seating area.
Leisuredrive has used all its design experience to give the Vivante a sizeable kitchen area that also offers good storage. It’s also well equipped for its size and includes an oven with grill, 2 ring gas hob, sink and fridge with freezer compartment.
Making up the beds is easy. The first option is to use the two front seats to create twin-single beds. The front seats also fold flat, allowing you to make up a double bed. This is done by sliding the offside seat base out to bridge the gap. We think most users are likely to choose two single beds, which frees up some floor space.
There is plenty of rear storage and a discretely hidden toilet that is situated away from the bed area, making it accessible once the bed is made up.
A Fiamma F45 pull-out side canopy is fitted.
